iCentera Customers Deliver More Than 1,000 Private Websites to Communicate With Partners, Prospects, and Customers

iCentera Deploys 15 New Customers in Three Months Improving the Way Companies Market and Sell

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. February 07, 2005—iCentera, the leading provider of intelligence centers and private websites for Marketing and Sales Effectiveness (MSE), today announced the delivery of more than 1,000 on-demand portals in 6 months and the signing of 15 new customers in 3 months. The icSuite delivers a complete Virtual Marketing Organization (VMO) that enables the enterprise to deliver a consistent company message, anytime and anywhere. iCentera icPortals enable companies to create and deliver personalized websites to improve and better manage communications with any audience including partners, prospects, and customers all in a matter of minutes.

"In our business, we are looking for enduring relationships. We are wrapped to relationships. We are not just sending one email every once in a while. We are sending multiple communications over time," said Jonathan Ruttenberg, VP Marketing, American Locker. "In a way, the more portals we can set up the better it will be for business. The greatest thing is that it is helping me organize myself and my communications. It saves me at least an hour a day. Who could ask for anything more than more time?"

In the past three months iCentera signed 15 new customers: American Locker, Analytic Systems, Avitage!, The CMM Group, Dexterra, eCredit, Lumenera, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Neurored, NexTone, OpenSpirit, PARX AG, Tier1 Research, nCipher, and ViewCentral. As a thought leader in the marketing and sales effectiveness space, iCentera has also partnered with the American Marketing Association as part of their 2005 Customer Message Management Forum; an education series providing best practices for increasing marketing's relevance in the sale cycle.

iCentera customers have leveraged the icSuite to deliver and manage more than 1,000 portals, branded for each customer and fully integrated within their website. "We were using an FTP service to deliver documentation, small software patches, and release notes. I had to upload content for each customer. With iCentera I just have to upload the document once and select the customers that can access it. Beyond that, iCentera also simplifies ongoing management and tracking issues," said Trevor Izsak, Sr. Marketing Manager, Seaway Networks. "I also like the fact that customers are automatically notified of new documents and that I can track who has accessed what."

The icSuite provides a completely hosted Virtual Marketing Organization enabling marketing and sales organizations to:

  • Customize and deliver private websites for any audience
  • Effectively manage online all types of content and resources
  • Sponsor online collaboration improving communications both internally and externally
  • Receive real-time analytics to gain insight on the needs of the customer
  • "Based on the response we are receiving from customers and partners, its clear that traditional methods of communication, like email, are now ineffective in many cases," said Craig Nelson President and CEO of iCentera. "Companies are finding that it's no longer just what you communicate, but how you communicate that is the most important part of core business processes such as marketing, partnering, and selling."
