VITAS Innovative Hospice Care® Deploys iCentera 8.0 On-Demand Sales Enablement Platform

Mobility and Salesforce.com Integration Were Key Criteria in Selection and Rapid Deployment of Solution for 400-Person Sales and Marketing Organization

MINNEAPOLIS, MN. — April 25, 2011 — iCentera, the sales enablement company, today announced that VITAS Innovative Hospice Care®, the nation's leading provider of end-of-life care, has selected iCentera's SaaS sales enablement platform to drive sales productivity, sales efficiency, and marketing effectiveness across its marketing and 400-strong sales organizations. The deployment of the iCentera for Enterprise Enablement™ edition, completed in four short weeks, followed a rigorous proof-of-concept phase and represents a best-in-class sales enablement solution, including field mobility and seamless integration with Salesforce.com for lead management.

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, VITAS (pronounced VEE-tahs) operates 50 hospice programs in 17 states and the District of Columbia. VITAS hospice professionals care for terminally ill patients daily-primarily in the patients' homes, but also in the company's inpatient hospice units as well as in hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living communities/residential care facilities.
