icGenerator

With the icSuite you can assemble, then distribute your company's information in a way that is specific to a particular customer or client. Simply select documents from the icIntelligence Center and from them generate a single professionally-formatted Adobe PDF or Microsoft PowerPoint document. Select documents by any of the following methods:

  • From a pre-assembled Binder containing multiple files in various formats.
  • Run the guided selling PowerTool to categorize documents based on customer needs.
  • Pick individual documents from the Content Index tree control.

icGenerator is an icSuite component that enables you to generate documents by merging together existing icIntelligence Center content.

With the icGenerator you can quickly and simply:

  • Merge existing documents.
  • Generate Adobe PDF files.
  • Generate Microsoft PowerPoint files.
  • Save the generator profile for later amendments or regeneration.

You simply select the files you want and the icGenerator can apply title, cover page, and additional details before generating a single file in the format of your choice.

You can easily add your generated content to the icIntelligence Center so that it is available for other users, or publish it directly to one of your icPortals so that it is immediately accessible to your clients. And of course when you add a document to a portal, you are notified as soon as a portal user accesses it.
